Gale Opposing Viewpoints in Context - a great database to show you both sides to an issue. You should start here for ideas and for the majority of your resources. Go through C2S to use it from home.
EBSCO Student Resource Center:Use the Student Research Center for easy access to magazine articles, newspaper articles, primary source documents, maps and more.
EBSCO MAS-Ultra: High School research database containing full text magazine articles (some back to 1975), full text reference books, biographies, primary source documents, images, maps and flags.
Discovering Collection: Covering the core curriculum areas, including history, literature, science, social studies, and more, Discovering Collection provides a selection of reference, primary sources, creative works, and multimedia, including hours of video and audio clips.
InfoTRAC: Access to magazine and newpaper articles, general interest databases, science resources, literary criticisms, and ebooks.
NC Wise Owl: NC WISE OWL is a Web site that has several subscription databases including InfoTrac, the Scribner Writers Series, Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia, Lands & Peoples, Popular Science, America the Beautiful, and a collection of searchable eBooks in the Virtual Reference Center.
Sweet Search: A search engine (like Google) but better, since its websites are approved by teachers, librarians, or other experts.
